How It Helps:

  • Chamomile tea is relaxing and calming. It helps with nervousness and anxiety. It also relaxes muscle tension and cramping.

  • Helps with inflammation 

  • Relieves bloating and gas 

Tips & Other Info.

  • Get loose chamomile (not in tea bags)

  • When making chamomile tea let it sit in the warm water for about 10 minutes. Strain and enjoy (or if you do not mind the small pieces in your cup then no need for straining). My go to drink before going to bed.

Sow the seeds in the spring (March-May) into a well drained soil. You may also take the cuttings and propagate them in the Spring or Fall (September-November)
Usually around midsummer (July), pick the flowers when they have completely opened.
Prune to maintain shape.
Watering: Water well during the summer as they do not like the be dried out.
Sun
Prefers in ground but can be planted in a container.
