Sow the seeds in the fall (September-November), if they are fresh. Take note that it can take about 4 years till it starts to flower. Take the cuttings from an established plant and propagate them in late spring (May) to early summer (June).
Leaves can be picked as needed.
Watering: Reduce watering during winter. Feeding: Needs liquid feed as week as foliage fertilizer, as it is growing.
Shade
Container grown outside of the tropics, in a warm shady location away from direct sunlight. Soilless compost as well as fine bark compost is preferred to plant it in.
