Potted / In Ground
Plant in dormant season, late fall (November) to early winter (December-January)
*When planting there are a couple versions, there are some that require you to get 2 or 3 pear trees so that they cross pollinate with each other. | Late summer (August) to Fall (September- November) | Summer or Winter, mostly in the winter when it is dormant.
Pruning is similar to apples. | Like moist soil, especially in the growing season. During the dry season (summer time) they need to be watered well, as they can't take dry conditions. | In ground but can be grown in a container (be sure it is not pot-bounded) |
