Plant in late fall (November) to winter (December-February) during its dormant season. | Late summer (August) | Prune them after its growing season, which is spring (March-May) and summer (June-July). Prune them around early fall (September-October) | Watering: During the first 4 years of planting the mulberry water it well, especially during the dry season. After that the mulberry will be able to take care of its own.
Feeding: Annually add fertilizer about 2 oz/sq.yd.
Add organic mulch during the spring season (March-May), it will help maintain the moisture. | In ground but can be grown in containers - not pot bound. |
