Potted / In Ground

Plant in a warm well drained soil with a pH level between 5.5 & 7.5.
The first 4 years the tree does not give any fruit. After the 4 years it does and when harvesting handle them carefully as they can be soft.
For an established tree, not much pruning is required unless the branch is broken or has a disease.
Feeding: Add fertilizer with potassium and nitrogen every year (about 2 lbs per year divided out to 3 -4 times per year). After four years fertilizer should be 4 lbs (double of what was being applied in years 1-3). Watering: Water well especially during dry weather. Add organic compost or mulch to help retain moisture.
