zuccini.

Tips & Other Info.

  • The darker the color of the asparagus the more nutrients it contains.

  • Consume within 2 days

  • When storing wrap the bottom ends with a damp paper towel to keep them moist and store in the refrigerator.

  • If you do not mind eating asparagus cold, when cooking or boiling, prepare a bowl of cold water with a couple of ice inside. As soon as you are removing the asparagus from the hot water soak it in the ice cold water for 5 seconds and remove to your plate. This is something I have done which has helped keep the nice green color on the asparagus.

  • Grilled asparagus is my favorite, especially with lemon!

  • Wash well with cold water.

  • Cut asparagus into 4 (depending on big they are) and toss them in your salad for extra crunch.
