  • Add to your fruit salad

  • If you have blackberries that are about to go bad, place them on. baking sheet and put it in the freezer. Once frozen place them in a ziploc bag or a container and store in freezer for about 3-5 months. Use them to make smoothies or if making a nice fruity drink add it in for some extra flavor and cooling.

If planting in a container, it can be planted at anytime throughout the year. If planting in ground, Plant in the fall (September-November) or winter (December-February) unless soil is frozen or frosted. If delayed, plant between late winter (February) and early spring (March). Add support when planting to train the canes.
Summer time (June-August)
Summer fruiting: Of the older canes, cut the canes to root level, in fall (September-October)
Watering: Water the soil well. Can be watered every other day unless it is during the dry season. Feeding: Add organic mulch in the spring time (March-May)
Full sun with afternoon shade.
Container grown or in ground.
